Abstract
This dataset presents 87Sr/86Sr, δ88Sr and [Sr] measurements from cremated diaphyseal fragments (n = 10) and otic capsules (n = 5) from ten cremated bone deposits at the Roman site of Tongobriga (Marco de Canaveses, Portugal). The cremated bone samples are from the High Empire necropolis, dated to the 1st century AD. This necropolis contains twelve cremated human bone deposits, with one containing no human bones and one containing non-calcined cremated bones, leaving Sr data from ten deposits to be presented in this study.
