Abstract

This dataset documents the isotopic variability of δ¹³C and δ¹⁵N values measured on human and faunal bone collagen from archaeological contexts associated with the sites of Aradetis Orgora and Doghlauri cemetery in the Shida Kartli region of Georgia. The assemblage includes faunal remains (n = 64) attributed to the Kura-Araxes, Middle Bronze Age, and Late Bronze Age periods, as well as human remains (n = 57) dated to the Kura-Araxes and Late Bronze Age phases. Produced within the framework of Southern Caucasian bioarchaeological research at LAMPEA laboratory (Aix-en-Provence, France) and funded by the ANR project KUR(A)GAN (PI G. Palumbi), the dataset provides insights into animal management, palaeodiet, and human-environment interactions in the South Caucasus. Combined human and faunal isotopic data support the establishment of regional isotopic baselines and contribute to discussions on Bronze Age subsistence and socio-environmental adaptations.
