Abstract

This data comprises 516 samples from 311 materials, with 277 organic isotope measures (δ¹³C, δ¹⁵N, δ³⁴S), 262 mineral isotope measures (δ¹³C, δ¹⁸O, ⁸⁷Sr/⁸⁶Sr), and 38 radiocarbon measures. The dataset compiles data from archaeological and environmental samples from archaeological sites from West New Guinea and Papua New Guinea. Data are included from 13 journal articles and book chapters, predominantly focused on diet and subsistence strategies, mobility, and past climate.
