Abstract

This dataset includes stable carbon (δ¹³C) and nitrogen (δ¹⁵N) isotope measurements of human bone collagen from Alkmaar and Blokhuizen (the Netherlands), complemented by comparative reference data from Alkmaar, Oldenzaal, and Sint-Oedenrode. It also contains strontium isotope ratios (⁸⁷Sr/⁸⁶Sr) from two mass graves at Alkmaar (S404 and S403) and from 20 domestic pigs (Sus domesticus) from Sint-Oedenrode, for which collagen C–N isotope values are likewise provided. Together, these data offer insights into diet, food production, and human mobility in the medieval and early modern Netherlands.
