Abstract

This dataset comprises a total of 1927 materials and includes 2354 samples, along with 2229 organic isotope measures (δ¹³C, δ¹⁵N, δ³⁴S), 422 mineral isotope measures (δ¹³C, δ¹⁸O, ⁸⁷Sr/⁸⁶Sr), and 38 radiocarbon measures. It compiles isotopic data from 49 sources, including journal articles, books, and academic theses (both master’s theses and doctoral dissertations). The dataset integrates isotope analysis results from archaeological and modern samples collected from sites in central Europe region specifically in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The majority of these studies explore aspects such as diet, food practices, subsistence strategies, social dynamics, mobility patterns, and environmental influences among past populations.
