Abstract

This dataset compiles multi-isotope data from 97 archaeological sites located across Europe, Western Asia, and Africa, dated between 9000 BCE and 1500 CE, based on 44 bibliographic sources. It includes 2,302 materials and 2,782 samples representing humans, animals, plants, and a few modern environmental specimens. Isotopic measurements comprise δ¹³C, δ¹⁵N, and ¹⁴C from organic matter, as well as δ¹³C, δ¹⁸O, and ⁸⁷Sr/⁸⁶Sr from mineral components. Covering diverse chronological and cultural contexts, the dataset supports research on ancient diets, mobility, and environmental interactions across wide temporal and spatial scales.
