Abstract
This dataset documents the isotopic variability of δ¹³C and δ¹⁵N values measured on human bone collagen from individuals associated with the site of Metaponto, a Greek colonial settlement in Southern Italy. It focuses on two archaeological areas, Crucinia and Pantanello, dated to the 7th to 2nd centuries BCE. Originally published by Renata J. Henneberg and Maciej Henneberg, the data offer valuable insights into dietary practices within the broader context of Greek colonization in Magna Graecia. The dataset complements the IsoArcH foundational dataset (Salesse, 2015; DOI: 10.48530/isoarch.2015.001)
